Ford has released a video detailing its engine power reduction program, which was initiated after a new engine model with a redesigned block design led to the company’s largest power reduction in history.
Ford says the program includes engine upgrades, changes to the transmission and exhaust system, and engine tuning.
The Ford V4 engine is the largest-ever reduction in power from a single block, and the largest in history, Ford said.
The program was originally announced in 2014, and it has seen significant improvements in efficiency and performance over the past few years.
The engine has also been tested on Ford vehicles in Europe, and Ford says it will be available to the United States in the third quarter of 2018.
Ford also said it will begin selling an updated version of the V4 in 2019.
